I went to the doctors today because i have some prety bad anxiety and he suggested to start with 20mg lexapro once a day and take .5mg xanax as needed. i read posts online and most people said they started of with 10mg lexapro. my question is, is it fine to start off with 20mg lexapro? please help!

I take lexapro occasionally as an antidepresant (not prescribed). And 10mg doesn't seem to be working for me anymore. Is it safe to take 20mg? Please don't lecture me, I know I shouldn't take it but that doesn't mean I'll stop. Just please help me if you can.

I take 3 meds now ! Lexapro 20mg at Morning and Sedoquel Xr 50mg at early evening and Embien CR 12.5mg 20mins before bed .

I am 19 years old and weigh 140 pounds, can this Antidepressant Lexapro (Escitalopram) cause slowed thinking, mental fogginess, emotional-numbing, loss of interest in any activity, irritability, and other serious cognition problems?
