what are the DANGERS of mixing the drugs ZANTAC & LEXAPRO.. my WIFE DIED not long after this prescribed medication..from her DOCTOR.....
I NEED ANSWERS......PLEASE HELP....
I'm 99% certain she did not tell her doctor the extent of her drinking problem (2 bottles of wine per night). The doctor said if she drinks while she's taking the Lexapro, he will put her in rehab. This is all second-hand information - I don't know what my friend told the doctor and I don't know if he really said what she said he did (I don't believe a doctor can enforce a patient going to rehab and think she might have said this to make everyone believe she is not going to drink). My concern is that between the gastric bypass surgery, alcohol and Lexapro, she is in danger. Anyone know more about this?
p.s. - I can't do anything about her alcoholism or other issues. I'm just concerned if she is in danger by mixing Lexapro, a LARGE amount of alcohol, and gastric bypass.
My doctor recently switched me from Celexa to Lexapro. But I'm having more depression and anxiety on Lexapro than I ever did on Celexa.
Is there any danger to switching back and forth between the two? (If I went back to Celexa, would there by any danger?)
And should I give the Lexapro more time? I was on 30 mg of Celexa, and now I'm on 10 mg of Lexapro (which is the equivalent of 20 mg of Celexa)
I was put on lexapro 10mg a day 2 days ago. I am 18 in a couple of weeks and I had been looking forward to clubbing and drinking out with my mates a fair bit. Does anyone know the dangers of drinking while on lexapro....
