• Who is the richest forex trader?
|
I hear about all those people in the web who claim to be rich and earn a living in forex and finally try to sell you their "systems". What I dont understand is If their systems WORKS as they claim it works, they should probably be spending their time with their "system" and not trying to sell them...
So all this spam aside, Is there really some person(genuine) who has become rich and famous by only trading/investing in the Forex Market?
nobody????

• Where are the Forex Millionaires/Billionaires?
|
I have been studying forex for a few weeks now and something that still buggs me and to which i can't find an answer is the following.
Other than the famous Soros, i don't know if any uber rich guy that made his fortune in the Forex market. By uber rich i mean a billionaire, but "just" knowing of a few multimillionaires who run some Forex investing fund would be enough. Maybe i haven't searched enough, but i can't find anything about it.
I know if super rich people who made it through businesses (obviously), trading stocks, options, futures, but not one single forex trader (who made his fortune primarily through it; mentioning how Buffet invests in currencies now and then doesn't count).
Why is it? And then i see all the supposed big shots in the Forex investing area, and they all became speakers, or working for companies, or became "miracle forex programs" sellers. They seldom mention how much they actually made through forex.
Can anybody name some well-known Forex investors?

• Hmm... business partner jealousy?
|
Perhaps I should've called on the phone rather than text messaged, but it's done.
I'm a journalist for a community magazine and have been in contact with this new quirky cafe in the neighborhood. The cafe is co-owned by a dynamic duo that I really enjoy talking to.
Anyway, I only saved the number of partner #1 and have been communicating mostly with him to write about events happening at their cafe.
However, recently I got assigned to interview partner #2 alone, because the fact that he still works as a forex trader in addition to running this cafe makes him quite a character. The article is a regular column in my magazine, which publishes conversation excerpts with local people who live in this neighborhood, mostly talking about what they do and their insights about life in this neighborhood. For this column we don't really do celebrities or famous people, just real ordinary people who have an extraordinary twist about them.
So I texted partner #1 to ask for partner #2's number.
He replies, "Why?"
I wrote, "I want to interview Partner #2 for (the column)".
He wrote, "Oh. Just him? Nothing to do with our cafe, I presume? Here's the number... 555-xxxx"
That felt a bit awkward. I tried to rectify the situation with a "LOL I want to interview him as a forex trader this time. Although, I think it would be impossible to not mention your cafe at all at some point in the interview. Thanks for the number, Partner #1!"
No more replies since. Not that there'd necessarily be one, but I can't help but wonder whether I've offended Partner #1. But then what have I done wrong? Is it very insensitive of me to choose to interview one partner--not necessarily solely based on his co-ownership of the cafe--and not the other? I don't think so, especially that the column is meant to be about conversations with individuals and their personalities, not a review of the cafe. But if I'm not wrong, how come I kinda feel bad about it?
I'll be visiting the cafe to write some news on Sunday. I'll be covering an event for another article, and while I'm there, I'll be interviewing Partner #2 for the conversation column. I'm about to call Partner #2 to make the appointment--what should I say on the phone? And when I see Partner #1 on Sunday, what should I say and how should I behave?
