i'm planning on taking a vacation in orlando florida at a home rental and i'm just wondering how it works, do they charge per person per week or do they charge per person per night i'm confuse because i was looking through the internet and it doesnt give much info on how they charge, if anyone ever rented a vacation home in florida let me know how it excactly how it work and how do they charge because i really want to go, i'm planning on going in april with 8 people and let know how much i'll proberly spend i'm paying everyones way

I am looking to relocate to FLorida because I cant take the cold. I have been there many, many times so I am pretty sure I want to do it. I have some spines problems that the Maryland weather makes worse. Anyway, does anyone know of the best way I can find some townhouse, house or trailer rentals? Im flexible on the area as long as the people are nice. Just dont want any super snobby areas.

I've been searching forever and can't find anything. Maybe you guys could? I kinda have strict criteria though :/
Has to be on Florida Gulf Coast and near a beach.
Has to have a pool
Has to accommodate 9-10 people
Has to be under $1400
Has to be available August 1st- August 8th
Preferably on/near Anna Maria Island but it's not required
If you guys could find one It'd be very appreciated :)

• I've made a deposit on a rental vacation home in Florida for Jan/March ; but didn't sign a rental agreement;

can I obtain my deposit back from the landlord given the 5 month advance notice of cancellation? All I have is a receipt of deposit from the landlord. How would I go about notifying the landlord of my desire to have the deposit returned to me and cancel the verbal agreement to rent.

My fiance and I will be honeymooning in Florida in March. We are trying to find a vacation rental, condo, townhome, home etc somewhere in Florida with an ocean view. We are flying into Orlando. I have been looking at vacation rentals in New Smyrna beach and now I have been trying to look in West Palm Beach area but I am not familiar with that part of the state! Any advice would be so greatly appreciated!!

• Moving to Florida but where do I stay at until I get a home?

I am 32 with a 15 year old son. I live in Montgomery County Maryland (WAY WAY WAY more expesive than West Palm Beach FL) and I want to move to West Palm Beach FL Jan 08. I will have about 6-10 grand when I am ready to move. My question is with me living in Maryland and wanting to move to Florida how can I look at apartments or rental homes in Florida while still livng in MD. I cant catch a plane everytime I see a home that looks like a nice rental. I was thinking of getting a vacation rental home for a month and hopefully find a place to live in that amount of time. Any suggestions?

3 kids + cat and $400 a week beach vacation budget, is it possible? Any ideas?
We tried home exchange but most people think twice before accepting a family with 3 kids, or we usually end up in a "less desired" areas. Could anyone suggest any other ways to have a decent beach vacation on a super tight budget?
