• Forex trading hours between USD and INR?

I see that the USD-INR forex rates seem to change only during the normal business hours in India. Are those the only hours for forex trading in USD-INR? If so, what about all those services that offer 24 hour trading -- is there some misunderstanding on my part?

Ok,
First I have to mention that I am a complete newbie in forex and shares and that the money are not real, but from a demo account, thus simulation.
Here is the deal:

So, when I started my balance was 50, 000...now you see it's
50, 300...the same is my "Equity".
When I started my Equity was slowing down to 49,600...I guess that means that the money I was spending to buy shares and forex are about 400$...
So, at the end I need to mention that I bought 20 lots from
Rolls Royce, because I saw that it was big difference from the "low" and "high" there- 437(low)-445(high).
I have also bought 10 lots of EUR/JPY and others pairs with EUR and GBP.
As you see I am completely new at the stuff...but am I right that I have spend only 400$ and end up with 700$ for an hour?

Are there people in the world who day trade forex for a living? I've read so many articles bashing day trading as gambling and impossible to make money, but I also read some forex trader interview who just trade a few hours a day and make a good living. Is it true?

Very good info. I still need to the times. Closes about 5pm EST Friday... Opens.... 5pm Sunday? ...but I thought I remembered someone saying 24/6... still, I def remember people saying their services are avail 24/5...
it's 5pm EST and they just went back online. There's my answer - they're down from 5mp EST Friday to 5pm EST Sunday. omg I'll have weekends in my new career... when i get there...
