• Does insider sell transactions effect net profit margins, come under expenses, or isn't accountable?
|
If a company makes $70 million for the year and has stated expenses at $50 million, and net profit is $20 million, does any part of monthly insider selling play any part at all in the balance sheet, or quarterly report?
If not that means insiders can sell millions of dollars of their options yearly
in the open market as if they had a printing press right?
Does anyone know how to explain this please?
If the company awards stock options to directors and they sell monthly to money in (their)pockets does this effect any part of the balance sheet?
Point is, this a legal license to line the managements pockets without having to account for it, correct? it's due compensation no matter how much the companies statistics page is in the minus all the time. It doesn't effect the stock price and even if the company has the worst record on wall street they can keep cashing in as long as the company stays alive, right?

• Where can I find the most active insider transaction stocks for a day's trading?
|
I'm looking for something similar in nature to the biggest gainers/losers in a day's trading, but instead of insider transactions. I am not sure how this would work, but my guess is that they would be as a percentage changes in overall insider holdings. Thanks for your help!
