• Lexapro interaction with alcohol?

So it's Christmas time and all so I wanna get drunk. I understand there's no point just skipping a dose for a day or so. How much should I be able to drink without any adverse effects? I've had three or four beers twice before, just after going from 10mg to 20 and didn't even notice any tipsiness, just as if I wasn't on the medication.
Not that it's probably at all useful but I'm 20, 5'11"-6' and around 80kg/175lb.
And in case anyone knows, would weed be a better option right now? Would it interact less with the Lexapro? Would booze and weed together be the worst possible idea here?

• Lexapro & Alcohol could be fatal?

I read that some people who are on lexapro and drink alcohol, the liver has a hard time metabolizing both and it could be fatal. Why isn't this on the Lexapro Website as A warning? It just says Alcohol isn't the best thing to do, but NO interactions with them both. That sucks because im on Lexapro and I like to social drink.

does drinking alcohol interact with abilify.im on lexapro 10mg and abilfy 5 mg and want to have a couple beers.i drank while on zepreaxa and lexapro no prob,i want to have a few beers.thanks
i know it alcohol doesnt interact with lexapro,and told the doctor i drink socialy she didnt say i had to stop
so if u drink on it just makes u really sleepy?

• How much can I reasonably drink on Lexapro?

I've been taking Lexapro for depression for just over a month, and haven't had any alcohol since I started, for fear of interactions with the medication. However, New Year's Eve is coming up, and one of my good friends has plans to steal me away and take me out for a wild night on the town.
Is anyone on here currently taking Lexapro? Can you drink while taking it at all, and if so, what's your max? I'm a very small, lightweight female, so I'm guessing one drink would probably be my max, if anything at all. I'd love some feedback from others who have consumed alcohol on this drug, though.
