2 weeks ago, I was put on Lexapro for anxiety and panic attacks. I take it in the evening because of the drowsiness and dizziness it says it may cause however the next morning I am still a little groggy and sometimes lightheaded. Does this eventually go away?

I was on Zoloft for panic attacks which was working but it caused me too much dizziness. I've tried Lexapro (only for 4 days) which seemed to work too but made me nauseous. I think I'm going to try the Lexapro again. I think the nausea should go away, but the dizziness on Zoloft won't.

About 5 months ago I was diagnosed with depression and social anxiety. My doctor perscribed me Lexapro. This drug did wonders for my social life and depresion state. Just recently i was away from home and forgot to stock up for the trip. The day after running out i expeirenced dizziness and a slight bit od neausia. Is this normal with terminating an anti-depresant? Once i continued the regiment of lexapro the diziness subsided. Could this be the drug or something else?

I have followed doctors instructions and come off the drug very gradually, but a day or two after i stopped all together I am very dizzy to the point of needing to faint when i stand up? Anyone experienced this or know if it is normal or how long it may go for?

I'm 17. (girl) I got a prescription for 10mg of Lexapro. (Actually it's 5mg because he told me to break the pills in half and take them).
I've been taking lexapro for my anxiety for about 3 days. Today I've hardly had an appetite at all and I've been nauseous.
I went to the doctor because I've been under an intense amount of stress that has caused my anxiety attacks to worsen, and I've had dizzy spells. He told me that stress and anxiety causes dizziness, plus i might be a little anemic from my menstrual cycle. But can Lexapro cause dizziness too?
And when should these side effects go away?

I take 5 mg of lexapro. This is my second day of taking it. I also take Advair twice a day for my asthma, Nexium once a day for my frequent heartburn, and a woman's multi-vitamin every morning. Today while standing, I got really faint and had to sit down for a while. What is this about?
