• Lexapro Withdraw?

I am currently comming off 20mg of lexapro. I am experiencing many withdraw symptoms and was wondering if anyone knows of over the counter medications, foods, etc that i can consume in order to help with the symptoms I'm experiencing?
I am very dizy, sleepy all the time, hungry constently, becoming more depressed and self consciense all the time. I am also getting to the point were i feel like i just want to break out crying. Out of all my symtoms the dizziness and sleepiness are the biggest conflicts im suffering dealing with my every day life.
If any of you have idea, information, or past experiences of things you've taken or done to help make these symptoms less of a problem i'd love to hear about them. Thanks!!

I have been on antidepressants for 7 years and have tapered off Lexapro. I have been without the drug entirely for a full week since tapering off for a month. How long will the withdraws last? I have brain zaps, dizziness, nausea and diarrhea. Also, I gained 30 lbs while on this medications, will the weight come off?

I have taken Lexapro (10mg) for 3 days now and I hate it, it is giving me horrible anxiety so bad I had to call in to work today. It is also making me feel depressed. I am taking it for anxiety and I feel like it is making it worse. I have only taken it for 3 days do you think I could just stop taking it without any negative side effects?

I decided to quit taking lexapro "cold turkey" and after a week of not taking the medicine i find myself getting dizzy spells at random times of the day? I'm a afraid to go back to taking them because I don't want to make things worse, but, I know If i tell my doctor he's probably just going to give me another pill (which I don't want). Any advice on what I should do? Or, how long this feeling will, and if it will get worse?

I have been in Lexapro for 5 months 10mg and everything was going well until a very stressful event and my anxiety went really high, my whole body ache including muscles and joints, so the doctor said it was due to stress and high anxiety and he put me in 20 of lexapro and its been 3 weeks but no really effect so now he want to add cymbalta to it and with time withdraw lexapro but I am a little scare to take two.

I stopped taking lexapro a week ago (cold turkey). I've noticed the last day or two, I have had these uncontrolable fits of rage. I scream and curse and can't stop. Is this from stopping lexapro?
*ps, I know cold turkey isn't recommended. no lectures, please.*
