I have been off lexapro 20mg for a little while now . I cant understand the withdrawal symptoms everyone is talking about. The only thing is I am still depressed. Alot of it stems from money problems. But I have marriage issues and body issues. I feel like it never worked for me in the first place. I am and have been managing my depression without meds for over 3 months. I have had a pill every once in a while but not enough to establish in my system. I am now out and I dont experience withdrawal symptoms. What am I supposed to feel? I was diagnosed with depression over a year ago.

Can lexapro withdrawal cause "ice pick" headaches. I am now 22 days off lexapro and just starting about a week ago I started getting these headaches that were very intense and lasted no more than 30 seconds, 2-7 times per day. I also have a pain in the same spot in my head whenever I clench my teeth or move my head fast. I also noticed random feelings of pressure in left nostril. This just started today and has happened randomly 2 or 3 times. I had a CT scan of my head done and it came back normal and I have had two different doctors inspect me and they didnt feel any need for more investigation, the CT scan was actually the product of a visit to the ER room. Anyways I am still worried and was wondering if lexapro withdrawal could be whats causing these annoying symptoms. Thanks!

• Craving sugar and insomnia with Lexapro withdrawal?

I am weaning on Lexapro and I have weaned off Paxil before, so I know what to expect and how to go slowly. But with Lexapro I am craving sweets so much, I just want to eat fruit and candy all day. Has anyone else experienced this or heard of it? Also, can it cause insomnia? I am going really slowly, tapering by just 2.5 mg every few weeks. Any other tips?

Im on 20mg.Every time I tell my psyche I want off lexapro they just keep upping the dose so Im going to try ween myself off slowly.Can anything bad happen if I try-heart attack or something?Id be grateful for any advice.

I have been really dizzy, nauseous, and I have a headache. I have been off lexapro for two weeks now. I weaned myself off, but perhaps I did it too fast. Also, a few days ago I had tonsillitis, but I believe I am over it now. What do you guys think? Any advice would be beneficial. Thank You!

took lexapro for 6months after having a baby. had a difficult birth required a c-section. also lost my dad 2months before baby was born experienced some anxiety and depression. couldnot understand the feelings i experienced other than losing my dad i wasn't depressed may have been postpartum related. feeling much better now thanks to the good lord. however having severe dizziness as a result of stopping lexapro?

I just (3 days) stopped taking Lexapro and I am having severe withdrawal syndrome-nausea, dizzy, anxious, some nights are HORRIBLE, can't sleep, ABSOLUTELY bad mood. I feel like I am dying slowly.
Could you die from Lexapro withdrawal? If not, how long will it last?
