|
And is the person notified about the certified letter or are they suprised about it when the got to the DR's office or pharmacy? I watched intervention last night and this women who severely abused prescription drugs was on the show and her sister mentioned that she was on some DEA's list but, was still able to get prescriptions and fill them. I'm just baffled.

• How can someone afford drug prescriptions after retirement?
|
My dad was employed at his job for about 30 years and had a good union with great heath benefits (health insurance and drug prescription medicine benefits). My mom is really sick and takes about 6 different prescriptions a month which are really expensive. Since my dad had benefits from his job had only had to pay a $2 co-pay for the drugs. Now he retired and his job does not have retiree benefits. Is there any affordable way for my dad to get the drugs my mom need? She is already on medicare plan b but does not qualify for the prescription medicine part D. Any ideas?

• How can a patient coordinate prescriptions so that they all are due to be refilled at the same time?
|
Example: Your grandmother has 4 prescriptions that expire on 4 different dates of the month: the 1st, the 8th, the 15th, and the 22nd.
This could require 4 different trips to the pharmacy.
How can your grandmother get the doctors and/or pharmacy to make it so that the prescriptions all are due to be refilled on (for example) the 1st of the month?

• What tool is used to make eyeglass prescriptions?
|
I'd like to know the name of the tool with all of the lenses and knobs that an Ophthalmologists uses to get someone's eyeglass prescription? Thanks.
For those that want to know why.. I plan to obtain one and learn how to operate it so that I may provide prescriptions in the event of a general breakdown of society.

• How do civilian prescriptions transfer to military pharmacies?
|
I just married a soldier, and we are enrolling me in Tricare in the morning. I am wondering what to do about my prescriptions - I have a years worth of refills on one of them. Will I need to get a new prescription from a military doctor or is there a way to transfer my previous prescription from a civilian pharmacy?

• How many prescriptions can one pharmacist be expected to safely fill in a normal eight hour shift?
|
I have been buying my drugs at Wal-Mart and the local pharmacist told me she fills from 300 to 450 prescriptions each day. She works 12 hour shifts. The prescriptions are actually filled by sales clerks called Pharmacy Tects and the pharmacist checks to make sure they are correctly filled. However, there have been several errors made on my drugs. I'm concerned about the safety of such high volume in stores like Wal-Mart.

• How do you start getting prescriptions through mail?
|
My mother had fibromyalgia and takes pain medications along with a few other things for her heart, depression, etc. Her pain management doctor is a real bitch, and that is why we are not asking her this question first.
My mother is on disability, so her prescriptions are mostly paid for. How would she go about getting her medication sent to her through the mail?
Thanks in advance for the advice.

• What legal prescriptions should I buy in Mexico?
|
So I'm taking a trip to Mexico at the end of the month and I plan on getting some prescriptions.
My question is: If you were going to Mexico what legal prescriptions would you get if you could get anything you wanted?
OK the first three responders don't know what they are talking about.
I can get a prescription in Mexico that is valid in the U.S.
Also the Mexican government has it's own form of FDA and counterfeit or bogus medicines are very rare.
You three are victims of drug company propaganda and none of you have answered my question.
No. The Donkey Show is in Boystown.
