• Can Marijuana/Lexapro(antidepressant) have bad side effects together?

I took a weed brownie for the first time last night, and am on lexapro. I had my first panic attack, started crying to the point that I couldn't stop, couldn't breathe almost, and was seeing hallucinations.
Do Marijuana and Lexapro have any chance of negative side effects together? This experience was unsettling for me, and I am waking up now at 5 pm feeling weak and tired.

Hi! I've been on Lexapro for a 6 days. I noticed that the first 3 days I was sleeping all the time and feeling dizzy, zombie kinda feeling. Is it normal, How long does this side effects lasts? I am on 10 mg per day, feel better already with my anxiety and panic attacks but side effects are making me like a zombie. Doeas this go away after some time, it's only 6th day today.

I have been on Lexapro for the 3rd day now after being diagnosed by psychiatrist im suffering from severe depression - relationship issues with my ex-bf and after I got on it the first day, I get more depressed and have anxiety attacks coupled with some memory loss !
Is this NORMAL for the first few days while my body is adjusting to it ? I called the pharmacist and was told to be on it for a week at least before I consider any change in medication.
What i wanna know is does it makes you feel depressed for the first few days coz this is what is happening to me ??

I've been on Lexapro for about 6 mo.s for depression. I don't notice a huge difference, I think it may have helped some. I still have the same anxiety.
I started gaining weight, 10lbs so far, and don't want to keep taking it if I could do without it, as I take so much other medication. I hope to get off of much of it; try more natural things, and most are very expensive.
I've heard of people taking it for a period.
I hope I can find information here about how it feels to get off of it, or even if I reduce it to 5mg. I take 10mg now.
What type of side effects, how severe, for how long. How long will I be a menace? Kidding.
I have been pretty sensitive to getting on and off meds in the past, meaning I get side effects. I can tolerate it and 'get through it' if it's not too horrible.
I forgot to take the Lexapro for a day or two in the beginning. when I was traveling. Boy did I have crying spells, which I've never had, and felt bad. I didn't make the connection until later.

I tried Lexapro for two days last month, and on the second day, I was having muscle spasms, horrible dry mouth, nausea, couldn't get out of bed. I had to stop taking it. My Dr said he didn't know what else to give me. I'm going back to him today, because I need SOMETHING to help with my depression and anxiety. I'm doing much better with my anxiety in general, and I haven't had a panic attack in several weeks. But I still feel "blue" and sad and funky, and I'm tired of it. Can anyone suggest a mild antidepressant without all those awful side effects? I don't care if I gain weight or can't reach orgasm (I'm celibate anyway), but those muscle tremors and that feeling like I'm about to die is just horrible. Any ideas? I'm a single working mom, so I can't afford to spend days laid out in bed feeling horrible, waiting to see if side effects go away. Thanks!

I feel super hungry, even after eating my normal dinner. I have not changed my normal meals, but feel soooooo hungry?
Also, feeling like dizzy and palpitations.
Has anyone else had similar symptoms? Can I safely say that this is a side effect of lexapro? Or something else?

I'm 15 years old. About 5 days ago I was prescribed the antidepressant lexapro. I understood there were potential side effects that I might have to deal with as seritontin was building in my system, and maybe even a few after the matter, but on day 5 I'm sort of worried. I have chronic depersonalization, and experience effects of derealization and at this point I'm kind of where I started with the disorder. I can't really talk to people because I can't concentrate on what they're saying even if I try really hard (which was a short lived phase of when I first gained depersonalization), things seem pretty foggy and blurry even though my vision is fine, and DP in general seems to be more intense and I feel a lot more dissociated. Also my anxiety seems pretty bad, but it's different than how it was prior to taking medication, now my anxiety includes worrying about every body ache, I've thought I was going unconcious or having a heart attack a few times and sort of panicked, and I feel pretty paranoid.
So do antidepressants get better before they get worse? I'm seeing my doctor in a few days but I sorta want to know if this is typical to take a load off my mind if you know what I mean. Thanks if you can answer :)

I'm 17 & my mom agree to get me on lexapro an antidepressant for my OCD and panic attacks. I am deathly afraid to vomit & I'm scared of getting sick from the pill. I hear it can make you nauseous. What should I do if I get sick? I have bonine and pepto bismol in case i do.
