• How long do withdrawal symptoms last after stopping Lexapro?

I was on a 10mg dose of Lexapro for a year, and then stopped gradually by taking one every other day, then not at all. It's been almost 2 weeks since I stopped, and I don't feel too bad, but I frequently get "brain shocks." Anybody get these before? How long are they supposed to last?

My doctor had me wean off Lexapro 20mg over the span of 4 weeks. This past Saturday was my last day taking Lexapro at all (I took 1/2 pill that day) Ever since then, I've been getting these weird "brain zaps" several times a day. It doesn't make me disoriented or dizzy, but it's a little disconcerting to someone who worries about things to begin with. It's like these very brief electric shocks from my brain. Anyone else had this? How long did it take to go away after you stopped the drug completely?

I stopped Lexapro cold turkey a week ago and have had intense itching all over my body since the day after i stopped. Has anyone else experienced this? So far, nothing has helped make it go away and I do not want to go back on the drug. Thanks!

I haven't been on lexapro too long, 6 months perhaps at a 10mg dose for PND I recently have stopped & have noticed that I am having the withdrawal symptom of brain zaps/ slight dizzy spells. All I wonder is how long will it last? :) its only been the last two days & I stopped completely probably 5 days ago. Thank you :)

I recently tapered off (too quickly) and stopped taking Lexapro 20 mg. The symptoms are KILLING me! It is all I can do to get through the work day (I get the bare minimum done) make dinner for my son and go to bed. I feel terrible!!! It's been almost weeks since the last dose.
Do mulitivitamins help? Omega 3's???
How long will this last? I nearly fell over after riding the elevator up 4 floors to my office this morning!
